My Story
Today, I wish to share with you some figures that may be unfamiliar to you. Let’s begin with the remarkable King Henry Christophe. Born in 1767, he ascended the throne as King of Haiti in 1811. Following his coronation, King Henry Christophe was joined by his sister, Marie Christophe, who was married to Philippe Guerrier, another prominent figure who would later also become a king in Haiti. Together, they welcomed a son named Jean into the world. Due to his royal lineage, Jean was granted the title of prince by his uncle, King Henry Christophe, and received special privileges befitting his status. Prince Jean also served as a government advisor. In 1808, he married Sara, who was a lady-in-waiting to Queen Marie Louise. In 1814, he took Marie Augustine Eleonor as his wife, the niece of the famed Toussaint Louverture, and Judge Alcima Jean-Pierre, the son of Felisma Jean-Pierre. Judge Alcima Jean-Pierre had a son named Jeremie Jean-Pierre, who became an accomplished agronomist. Jeremie Jean-Pierre married Aniece Guerrier, the daughter of Josue Guerrier, who was the great-great-grandson of Philippe Guerrier. Together, they had a daughter named Marie Antoinette Jean-Pierre, who is known today as Queen Bmazazhi. Born in the city of Cap-Haitien, Queen Bmazazhi hails from a distinguished family, as Jeremie Jean-Pierre had many brothers, all of whom were Adventist pastors. She stands as the first Haitian American queen crowned in Africa, at a coronation attended by over 5,000 people. This grand ceremony was organized by the esteemed King Luka Baba, supported by a group of missionaries dedicated to spreading the Gospel. With a compassionate and sensitive heart, Queen Bmazazhi continues the legacy of her ancestors, providing assistance in the USA, Haiti, and Africa. Wherever she goes, her actions reflect a commitment to serving God. Through her humanitarian initiative, Valley of Love Ministries, she extends her hand to the most vulnerable among us.
